The Purple Book
The Purple Book is the definitive global operational framework for accessibility and universal design in mass-participation atletic events. It provides race organizers with actionable standards to build fully inclusive event infrastructure from start to finish.
AxESS SEAL OF INCLUSION
Launching in 2027, the AxESS Seal of Inclusion audits and certifies global marathons across Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers based on their alignment with The Purple Book. In addition to celebrating races for their commitment to inclusion, it provides race directors with a clear roadmap for operational progress while giving athletes trusted, verified event standards.
EQUAL START GRANT
The Equal Start Grant directly neutralizes the “Disability Tax” by funding specialized equipment transport, adapted logistics, and the athlete’s chosen support team. Grounded in the principles of independent racing, we ensure no runner’s choice, dignity, or athletic potential is dictated by the financial cost of their adaptive needs.
